  15. TO THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT, PROMPTLY REMOVE THE SOFTWARE
  16. TOGETHER WITH ALL COPIES FROM YOUR COMPUTER.  USER'S USE OF THIS
  17. SOFTWARE IS CONDITIONED UPON COMPLIANCE BY USER WITH THE TERMS OF
  18. THIS AGREEMENT. THE SOFTWARE MAY BE EVALUATED FOR THIRTY  DAYS
  19. ON A ROYALTY FREE BASIS. CONTINUED USE AFTER EVALUATION IS CONDITIONED
  20. UPON PAYMENT BY USER OF THE REGISTRATION FEE SPECIFIED IN THE FILE:
  21. REGISTER.TXT FROM MCAFEE, INC. ("MCAFEE").

  23. 1. LICENSE GRANT. McAfee grants to you a non-exclusive, non-transferable
  24.    right to use the SOFTWARE on file servers connected to a maximum
  25.    number of user computers, or on a maximum number of user computers,
  26.    not exceeding the number of user computers specified on the packaging
  27.    for this product. This license to use the SOFTWARE is conditioned
  28.    upon your compliance with the terms of this Agreement. You agree you
  29.    will only copy the SOFTWARE into any machine-readable or printed form
  30.    as necessary to use it in accordance with this license or for backup
  31.    purposes in support of your use of the SOFTWARE. This license
  32.    is effective until terminated. You may terminate it at any point by
  33.    destroying the SOFTWARE together with all copies of the SOFTWARE.
  34.    Also, McAfee has the option to terminate if you fail to comply with
  35.    any term or condition of this Agreement. You agree upon such
  36.    termination to destroy the SOFTWARE together with all copies of
  37.    the SOFTWARE.

  39. 2. COPYRIGHT. The SOFTWARE is protected by United States copyright law
  40.    and international treaty provisions. You acknowledge that no title to
  41.    the intellectual property in the SOFTWARE is transferred to you. You
  42.    further acknowledge that title and full ownership rights to the
  43.    SOFTWARE will remain the exclusive property of McAfee or its
  44.    suppliers, and you will not acquire any rights to the SOFTWARE
  45.    except as expressly set forth in this license. You agree that any
  46.    copies of the SOFTWARE will contain the same proprietary notices
  47.    which appear on and in the SOFTWARE.

  49. 3. REVERSE ENGINEERING. You agree that you will not attempt to reverse
  50.    compile, modify, translate, or disassemble the SOFTWARE in whole or
  51.    in part.

  53. 4. LIMITED WARRANTY. McAfee warrants that the SOFTWARE will perform
  54.    substantially in accordance with the accompanying written materials
  55.    for a period of thirty (30) days from the date of purchase. Any
  56.    implied warranties relating to the SOFTWARE are limited to thirty
  57.    (30) days.

  59. 5. CUSTOMER REMEDIES. If the SOFTWARE does not conform to the limited
  60.    warranty in Section 4 above ("Limited Warranty"), McAfee's entire
  61.    liability and your sole remedy shall be, at McAfee's option, either
  62.    to (a) correct the error or (b) help you work around or avoid the
  63.    error. The Limited Warranty is void if failure of the SOFTWARE has
  64.    resulted from accident, abuse, or misapplication. Any replacement
  65.    SOFTWARE will be warranted for the remainder of the original Limited
  66.    Warranty period.

  68. 6. NO OTHER WARRANTIES. McAFEE DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE IS
  69.    ERROR FREE. EXCEPT FOR THE EXPRESS LIMITED WARRANTY IN SECTION 4
  70.    ("LIMITED WARRANTY"), McAFEE DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES WITH
  71.    RESPECT TO THE SOFTWARE, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT
  72.    NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR
  73.    A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NONINFRINGEMENT OF THIRD PARTY RIGHTS.
  74.    SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES
  75.    OR LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY MAY LAST, OR THE
  76.    EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES,
  77.    SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
  78.    THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS AND YOU MAY ALSO
  79.    HAVE OTHER RIGHTS WHICH VARY FROM JURISDICTION TO JURISDICTION.

  81. 7. SEVERABILITY. In the event of invalidity of any provision of this
  82.    license, the parties agree that such invalidity shall not affect the
  83.    validity of the remaining portions of this license.

  85. 8. NO LIABILITY FOR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. IN NO EVENT SHALL McAFEE OR
  86.    ITS SUPPLIERS BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL,
  87.    INCIDENTAL OR INDIRECT DAMAGES OF ANY KIND ARISING OUT OF THE
  88.    DELIVERY, PERFORMANCE OR USE OF THE SOFTWARE, EVEN IF McAFEE HAS
  89.    BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. IN NO EVENT
  90.    WILL McAFEE'S LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM, WHETHER IN CONTRACT,
  91.    TORT OR ANY OTHER THEORY OF LIABILITY, EXCEED THE LICENSE FEE
  92.    PAID BY YOU, IF ANY.

  94. 9. GOVERNING LAW. This license will be governed by the laws of the
  95.    State of California as they are applied to agreements between
  96.    California residents entered into and to be performed entirely
  97.    within California. The United Nations Convention on Contracts
  98.    for the International Sale of Goods is specifically disclaimed.

  100. 10.ENTIRE AGREEMENT. This is the entire agreement between you and
  101.    McAfee which supercedes any prior agreement or understanding,
  102.    whether written or oral, relating to the subject matter of this
  103.    license.

  105. U.S. GOVERNMENT RESTRICTED RIGHTS
  106. If this product is acquired under the terms of a (i) Civilian Agency
  107. Contract - use, reproduction or disclosure is subject to
  108. FAR 52.227-19(a) through (d) and restrictions set forth in the
  109. accompanying end user agreement; and (ii) DoD Contract - use,
  110. duplication or disclosure by the Government is subject to the
  111. terms of this license unless superseded by 252.227-7013(c)(1)(ii).
